Hunger and Thirsty

Mark 11:12-14

12 And on the next day, when they had departed from Bethany, He became hungry.

13 And seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

14 And He answered and said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples were listening. (NAS)

Mark 11:20-21

20 And as they were passing by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up.

21 And being reminded, Peter said to Him, ‘Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which You cursed has withered.” (NAS)

Being a food foodie; (not alcohol; ha ha) my sin I could remember when I first read the scripture mainly that we ought to hunger and thirst after God words.  Of course, Jesus being the master on teaching He brings it home as He would that we focus on him V12 (here it is..proof of His humanity)  I ‘m not sure of how it read in the Hebrew bible; but the spirit of God wanted me to investigate the question that I asked in verse 13 particularly, “He went to see it perhaps He would find anything on it”; (Now I promised you I didn’t want to accept this because Jesus knows if there were any figs on that tree; so it couldn’t be about figs  as I was mediating; or picture it in my mind.  Sure enough the Holy Spirit directed me below.

This passage has proven to be one of the most difficult passages in all the Gospels. The cursing of the fig tree is Jesus’ only recorded miracle that results in destruction rather than restoration. The passage, however, becomes clear when understood in its literary context.

In this passage, two encounters with a fig tree are deliberately sandwiched in between Jesus’ cleansing of the temple. There is apparently a relationship between the two incidents, and the reader is left to discover that relationship.

So, my understanding that Holy Spirit (will make you do it)  wanted me to imagine in my mind the physical aspect of fig tree.  In order for me to do  that I had to learn about a fig tree.  The research that I came across helped me see that it wasn’t the physical tree because of the season and besides revelation of this scripture.  I bear witness with just my little understanding as there are well learned men in which I tapped into their teaching about this particular scripture in the book of Mark.

Mark has several interrupted accounts. The fig tree incident is yet another one. On a number of occasions, Mark begins one story and concludes it only after another story in interjected and resolved. This is almost always a literary device designed to tie two incidents together thematically. In this passage, two encounters with a fig tree are deliberately sandwiched in between Jesus’ cleansing of the temple. There is apparently a relationship between the two incidents, and the reader is left to discover that relationship.

The temple cleansing is a fulfillment of Malachi 3:1-3. Moses commanded that folks were to purchase sacrifices conveniently, so the purchasing of sacrifices was not the impetus for Jesus’ actions. There seem to be two reasons for Jesus’ abrupt behavior: 1) the Gentile court was not functioning as intended: it was supposed to be a house of worship and instead these worshippers were being crowded out by merchandisers, and 2) It was supposed to be primarily a place of worship, not primarily a marketplace.

Although leaves would commonly appear in March or April, figs normally sprouted in June. The fully developed leaves on this tree, however, suggested that fruit would also be found. Jesus approaches the leafy fig tree fully expecting to find fruit there (if any tree is going to have fruit, this tree certainly would). When He finds none, Jesus responds in righteous anger. Likewise, Jesus enters the temple fully expecting to find fruit there (if any place is going to produce spiritual fruit, this temple certainly would). When He finds none, Jesus responds in righteous anger.

The fig tree incident, then, is a visual parable. Clearly Jesus is indicating judgment, but judgment on whom? Since the tree had leaves, one would expect that fruit accompanied them. Jesus expects to see fruit, and is visibly disappointed when He finds none. The tree was “pretending” to bear fruit. What a terrific picture of the Jewish leadership of Jesus’ day. They “pretended” to have fruit. What a great picture of countless believers today.

The point lies in the difference between the appearance of the temple and the tree from a distance and their true condition, which a closer inspection reveals. Does that sound like your life? To most people you appear to be genuine. But what if we examined you closer? What if we could follow you around for a week? Would we find fruit, or have you grown adept at giving the appearance of fruit from a distance?

Our Fruitfulness Pleases the Lord (11:20-26)104

11:20 In the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 11:21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.” 11:22 Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God. 11:23 I tell you the truth, if someone says to this mountain,105 ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 11:24 For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 11:25 Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your sins.”

Jesus is here giving a summons to faith and to action consistent with one’s faith. He mentions two specific fruits of genuine faith: Prayer and forgiveness—two of the most difficult fruits to counterfeit. Incidentally, the first fruit Jesus describes (namely, prayer) is the primary fruit He found missing at the temple (“My house will be called a house of prayer . . .”). Just as a pulse is the sign of a heartbeat, so fruit is the sign of internal spiritual life.

Is there a Phoebe in the house?

Preach on Phoebe

The word Phoebe means bright.  It comes from the Greek root word, phos, from which we get phosphorus, the ingredient in matches.  Perhaps through the ages, even though men have tried to dim her light and that of other women, God never has.  Paul never did.  Now, it is time for the Phoebes of the world to shine.  Let us allow them to come forth even as the Timothy ‘s and the Paul’ s.

Preach, sister Phoebe with all your being.  Prophesy, sister Phoebe with all your might.  Teach, sister Phoebe with all diligence.  Evangelize, bless, and minister to the church and to the world.  Let your light shine so all can see the grace of the Lord.  We speak to the shackles of religion that have reduced the gifting ‘s of women in the name of Scripture.  To the powers of darkness that have placed cultural bondage’s over God’s creation.  To the tyranny of prideful man.  Chains, be broken.  Prison doors, open.  In the name of the Lord.  According to His Word.  Let the wonderful, God-given, unstained, untainted, blood-bought truth set you free!

BLESSINGS!

Keeping it Real ~ Know you have a Protector!

Let’s explore how God protects you and me!

Scripture:  Matthew 6:26-27; 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and Psalm 18:2-3

Matthew 6:26-27New International Version (NIV)

26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Thessalonians 3:3 Living Bible (TLB)

But the Lord is faithful; he will make you strong and guard you from satanic attacks of every kind.

Psalm 18:2-3 King James Version (KJV)

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Know This:  God love us and protects us; God strengthens us and protects us from Satan.

Life Slogan Application:  “When with God we connect, He will always protect”

Let us Pray; Dear Lord Jesus we thank you for being faithful in our lives as you makes us strong and guard us against Satan tactics that he throws at us.  Lord I thank you that you are my rock and my fortress, you are my deliverer, my God and my strength.  I thank you for protecting us even now in Jesus name I pray.

It’s apparent in reading Matthew ‘s scripture above that God clearly protects His creation.  We as His children may ask; how does God show His love and protection for us?  I agree, He does by helping us make good choices by giving us friends who care for us.  For the first time in reading this scripture I connected with the bird as being a chicken…. you know an Aha moment.  When the chicken lays an egg for the chick inside it’s actual a wall of protection for the chick to be safe in order words it’s protected in it’s shell.  No don’t think of it as Oh well I can take a fork and have scrambled eggs or a predator come and crack the egg for food. I want you to consider looking at this another way.  The same way God protects the chicks with the eggshell is the way He protects us.  How you may ask? He puts a shell (wall) around us.  He knows just how strong to make the covering (wall) for you and for me.  God will never leave us and He know whats best for us. God is always there to listen for He never sleeps or slumber and He can meet all our needs in any area of our life.  He knows just what kind of protection we need, and cares for you and for me!

Remember God is our Protector!

How do we get tied up in Sin

In the book of James 1:12-15

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Main Points:  It’s not easy to break a pattern of sin so stop acting like you overcame sin
God will separate those who love Him from those who don’t.
Application Slogan:  If we want to be a sheep; to the needs of others, we must leap”
For you and I to break patterns of sin we much learn how a continued life of sin is hard to break.  In other words identify that you are a sinner and confess that it’s not easy to break the sin that’s hindering on your soul.  This reminds me when I was smoker and I wanted to quit.  I tried the patches it made me sick so I stopped taking it.    I tried cutting it down (not that I was a heavy smoker but nevertheless I was addicted to smoking) to 10 a day, 5 day 2 a day to 1 day and \that didn’t work.  I remember speaking to Lord and saying Jesus you know that I like the feeling I get when I smoke but I’m praying that you remove that feeling and take the taste out of mouth; and this is how I was able to quit smoking and it has almost been twenty years.  Thank you Jesus!
Let’s pray:  Father God I ask you right now in the name of Jesus to help everyone who reads this post to first understand more about Jesus at this time.   I pray Father that the scriptures penetrate in our lives as we read the scripture to encourage ourselves and those around us how sin can tie us up and God will separate those who love Him from those who don’t.  In Jesus name I pray.
If I was to give you some paper and water and ask you if you can tear lets try a couple of papers you can probably tear it.  Now if I ask if you can tear lets say up to half a ream of paper or until you no longer can tear through them let use this as an metaphor being sin.
Consider the following question:  Why was it easy to break through the first couple of pages.  Some may say because it was thin or it wasn’t that much paper during the first couple attempts.  You may noticed that as you added more paper it got harder for you tear.  If you take the larger bunch of paper write the word sin on it and let it sit in a pan of water and come back in couple of minutes.  Just like us we think that we have little sins when the paper was easy to tear and then we think we have big sins when we added to the pile and couldn’t tear.  The example that I wanted to leave with you is first don’t think of sin as being a little sin or look at sin being a big sin.   (In other words there is no such thing as a little sin or big sin in the eyes of God)  The book of James tell us or better yet what we should share:  It is a good thing to stay away from a life of sin.  All of us sin; yes; but when we do, we can ask God for forgiveness.  On our own its not easy to break a pattern of sin, but when we’re soaked in the power of the Holy Spirit, and bathed in the love of friends and family, we can break through our sin nature in Jesus name.
No longer bound to sin is my prayer and confession for today and until I meet Him!
BLESSINGS!

Oh No ~ Don’t Replace God

Grace and Peace be unto you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

It is truly an honor and a privilege to come before you for my first online bible study.  I literally cried to God this evening as I said “Come on God”  as I cried out and then I had to repent as I said  Father I meant Lord I need you to help me on this journey that you have set out for me to do reaching the lost on this social platform. I believe He laughed at me in a good way as He does and here I am.  I took a walk with my dog; believe it or not his name is Bandit from a show that I looked it when I was child.  This period of my life was special as it reminds me to this day when my siblings (1 sister and 3 brothers) would sit at this one TV and enjoy watching the show called Johnny Quest.  It was a popular show back then and you can still find it I believe on some of the networks that I’m sure is showing these reruns.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonny_Quest_%28TV_series%29

Let us Pray:  Father in the name of Jesus I come to you right now at this hour asking for your Holy Ghost Power to take control of my thoughts anoint these hands as they type on the keyboard that I not miss interrupt or compromise what you have given me to share to every reader that happens to come across searching  on this forum for something that they may be yearning for;but they do not know.  I pray Father that the not knowing (folks) will find you as only you know how to get our attention and that same not knowing person will be encourage to seek you God Almighty and most of all that you get the glory as we go into study.  Dear Lord open our eyes that we may see open our ears that we may hear your voice in Jesus Name.  Amen

The below link showed that there were 100 bible versus on idolatry  which I would like for you to visit and investigate what the word says about idolatry.

https://www.openbible.info/topics/idolatry

Everyone in way or the other practices this sin knowingly and I believe unknowingly.  To set the stage let’s go back to the book of Genesis although we can find this type of sin from the first book to the last book of the bible; Actually, I think the Holy Spirit purposely knew the bible would in some way be out of order as we see it. (Here is a good resource I found that will help you in your spiritual search of God)  http://www.bible-history.com/biblestudy/charts/old-testament-books-english-order.html

Genesis – Revelation; just so that you in I can digest it’s contents to discover and discuss just how sin enter, how sin fell on holy men who knew God more so, I believe than any of us.  It I can just say from every book of the bible since I’m studying in the book of Genesis (My God look how the Holy Spirit showed up for me at this study as I am in the study of Genesis with Chuck Missler) Father I thank you for your presence.  If I can give a subtitle: It would be (A)  what are your personal characteristics of an Idolater?  For me I have a Constance reminder when I’m in that place thinking of one of the greatest movies every told “The Ten Commandments” while Moses was upon the mountain after he brought them out of Egypt.  Moses always done what was natural for him to do and that was to speak with God face to face.  As Moses was spending time with God, the people grew uneasy.  It’s amazing how the people seen all these miracles that had taken place in them coming out of Egypt how sin enters when we are not careful.  It’s also amazing how Jesus was also preaching on how we should get to know Him in our own personal lives.  Just as the people felt insecure without their leader Moses they turned to his brother Aaron and begged him to make them a god so that they might not be alone.  I remembered feeling bad for Aaron for being persuaded.   I believe that Aaron was at such a venerable moment or maybe felt at that moment that he was finally getting respected as a leader and he somehow use that opportunity as he also had some weariness about his brother and in fact he was at an old age along with Moses during all of this journey and it had to be much on the mind to take in what had happen.   Maybe he finally got a hold of his purpose but instead of him ceasing this opportunity to commune with the people to comfort them by preaching to them I pray I would have said if I was in shoes~ Don’t  ya’ll remember what just happen when we were Egypt?  The ten plagues, the night of pass over, the parting of the seas.  Mind you God seen what was happening down at the foot of the mountain when all of this was happening. (making a golden calf as a god; this is idolatry)   My question is when God told Moses that he will destroy the people and make a great nation of Him alone. What conversation was actually taken place? (I guess this will be one of my questions to him when Moses and the rest of the prophets meets us)  As Moses pleaded with God not to destroy the Israelite? God heard him and granted him his wish.  As Moses descended the mountain and he looked angrily upon his people as they were dancing and singing before the golden calf and in his anger he hurled the stone tables from his hands, and they broke at the foot of the mountain.  He took the calf and burned it.  As the stoned was burned he took it and ground it into a power, sprinkled it in water, and made the people drink.  The children of Israel mourned in shame after they drank? (I guess this was Moses intention as he made this power) someone help me on this.  Again, Moses had to climbed back to the mountain to ask for forgiveness for his people.  Can you believe another 40 days and 40 nights, (Do you know who else spent time in the wilderness 40 days and 40 nights?  (Jesus) Isn’t this something (just a side note)  Thank God that He did grant permission for the people to go forward with the plan to Canaan with the two new stones of the commandments.  What’s amazing is that it took another 40 years in the wilderness (actually they took 40 years going in circles because the trip was actually a short) some bible scholars say the trip was actually 11 days for the people to reached Canaan and how God showed Moses the land but God wouldn’t have Moses to enter the land.  God had another plan for Moses to be with him.  So Moses died after accomplishing what he had set out do with the plan that God had for him so many years before.  I believe when God told Moses that he wasn’t going into the land of Canaan that he was happy because he knew that he was really going to a home like no other.

How can we know that we know that we know that we have only rest in Him and not nothing or anything in this world should take us away from that.  Lay down those idolatry mannerism that will block what God has for each and everyone of his children.

Until we meet again.

Hold on to God ‘s unchanging hands!

Chuck Missler~ what a teacher!

One of the things I’m doing for 2016 is sharing the Gospel to the unbeliever.   I am so thankful that I was reunited with the teaching of Chuck Missler as I am taking a journey with him on the study of Genesis as my bible study starting point for 2016. When you really delve into his teaching Revelation is a good starting point for a bible study lesson as well.  Everything that begins in Genesis ends with Revelation.  Everything that ends with Revelation begins with Genesis.  I find that fascinating hearing from Pastor Chuck.   He has a style of teaching like no other and he is one of my fave five of preachers.  I thank the Holy Spirit for directing me to his teaching once again.  I say again, as I listen to him some years ago back in 2010 or maybe earlier and I didn’t complete that study as I remember but one of my goals in 2016 is to complete this study and wait to see if I am prompt to continue in the rest of his books by the Holy Spirit.  I pray that I will as he is a preacher for preachers I’m sure. I appreciate him sharing his knowledge and insight of the bible as he is is no frills kind of preacher and keeps it real and interesting (esp. the history of the book).  Pastor Chuck is not afraid of a challenge when it comes to the non-believer to tries to discredit the bible.  He puts anyone who tries to shame; no wonder the many atheist turns to Christianity.  Pastor Chuck teaching is one of the best bible teachers that I enjoy listening to. I can see so clear  how he can change a harden heart to convert.   Most of all he will tell you He takes no credit but he gives God all he Glory unquestionable.  He is such character for me ( He has a certain style) as being very humble and he believes in what he teaches.  CharlesChuckMissler is an author, evangelical Christian, Bible teacher, engineer, and former businessman. He is the founder of the Koinonia House ministry based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  His caviler style of teaching for me makes you want to wish you were directly in his class but I thank God that it was recorded to be shared and his teaching makes you feel you are indeed in his class.  I love how his teaching is applicable for these days and times now.  As for me my brain couldn’t retain it all at once (best description I can explain) For I couldn’t hear one tape only once I had to go back several times before going to the next tape and each time I heard something new or something I missed.  Anyone that is able to get hold of his teaching be aware that you will be on a journey like never before.  I find that you must be hungry and thirsty when you come to his teaching no matter where you are in your walk in Christianity.  I believe this is for the layman as well as the five fold ministry. The concept of the five-fold ministry comes from Ephesians 4:11, “It was he who gave some to be (1) apostles, some to be (2) prophets, some to be (3) evangelists, and some to be (4) pastors and (5) teachers.” Primarily as a result of this verse, some believe God has restored, or is restoring, the offices of apostle and prophet in the church today. Ephesians 4:12-13 tells us that the purpose of the five-fold ministry is, “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” So, since the body of Christ definitely is not built up to unity in the faith and has not attained to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, the thinking goes, the offices of apostle and prophet must still be in effect.  Luke 24:13-31.  There were so many nuggets in the study of Genesis that makes me want more researching on my own as I like to do on my own or to find out what God is saying directly to me.  I am so happy that God planted in my heart sometime ago that what I learn is not just for me but to be shared for someone to find Jesus.  This is what I plan to do for 2016.

BLESSINGS

The “A” Train Experience

March 1, 2013

Usually, when I’m in transit and if there is a seat or whether I’m standing I would meditate on the goodness of Jesus first.  Especially, if I haven’t already said Lord I thank you from the rising of the sun and the laying down last night how you kept your Angels watch over me as I slept and slumber.   You sir or madam can believe it My God will get the honor and the glory due him from me at that very hour or during the course of the day. I do wait for the Holy Ghost to speak (this is my expectation); sometimes I receive immediately but in all honesty He will speak throughout the course of the day just to remind me that God our Father is in control.

Proverbs 19:21 – Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Romans 8:28- And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose

Isaiah 45:6-7 – That people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other.  I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the Lord, who does all these things.

Matthew 19:26 – But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible

Let me back up….. After taking care of my chores I began making myself down stairs and put my focus on the plan for me and my family the 4 page doc that hits you immediately on the dining room table. The document merely states my thoughts on how God is getting ready to use me for his Kingdom.  I’m praying to God that He wanted me to include my family…….As it seems only one member read it.  My frustration took hold of me and I yell to the two family members who I thought may not have read it or so it seems because they did not respond when I open (my big mouth) “I would advise that you read this” in sort of tribunal way ~ because right after I said it in my mind said there will be serious consequences this weekend.

Going out the door I ponder on what transpired and said I shouldn’t handled it that way and began to pray.  I didn’t even say Be Blessed; have Blessed Day; Keep your eyes and ears open to His Voice none of  the encouraging words that should have been spoken when leaving or better yet “I LOVE YOU” Even my dog didn’t want to say anything to me.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 6:34 – Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Psalm 22:28 – For kingship belongs to the Lord, and He rules over the nations.

Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you” Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you”.

Proverbs 16:4 – The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.

My God;   I Walked down further down the street to catch the bus which I could see as I came near to end of the next block I whispered to God please let the bus be there when I cross the street to catch the bus behold the bus was waiting for me and smile because I knew the driver didn’t see me because I was cross the street before I got to the corner when the bus turned on to the bus stop.  A nice gentleman had turn his head to remind that God heard my prayer and he told the bus driver to wait and stepped back as I hurriedly got me on the bus thanking him at the same time.  (God hears us in our thoughts)

James 4:6 – But he gives more grace.  Therefore it says. “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace you have been saved through faith.  And this not your own doing; it is the give of God, not a result of work, so that one may boast.

Luke14:18-11 – When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in a place of honor, lest someone more distinguished than you be invited by him, and he who invited you both will come and say to you, ‘Give your place to this person,’ and then you will begin with shame to take the lowest place. But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at table with you. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Proverbs 16:18-19 – Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Romans 12:10 – Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor

1John 1:8 – If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Prayer:  Father I thank you for your traveling mercies; I thank you that you remind me of the things that I need to change within myself.  I thank you when I think that I’m all of that you bring me down and teach me to humble myself in so many ways and I love you for that.  Bless my family and those that I thought about even now.  Keep them safe from harm and danger and bless them in areas that need to felt and heard that only you can handle.  Father I hear you loud and clear give me the strength to go forth in Jesus Name I pray.  AMEN

Meet me at planting seed ministry; looking for God’s remnant!

Hey; can’t sleep ~ Ponder on this

The bible speaks in John 1:1; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  Thank you for reading this blog as I hope that you will join me in this journey which I find that no matter where you are there is always a beginning.

Part 2; manifest this April of 2016.  I had to digress to where I am for a moment just to see where I am. The first paragraph was sitting in my draft since January 2016.   I thank God as always for pulling me to where he wants me even though I seemed to be pulling me up to where I think I should be.  The God that we serve is not a God like us we have a finite mind whereas; He is infinite.  If  we can truly grasp that God is not like men; seriously we can’t think of God as we would ourselves but unfortunately this is what we do.  For those who know this walk that we are walking it’s so easy to think that what we do seems so right but I’m sorry there is something in the inside that just doesn’t sit right in your spirit no matter how right you may think it seems.  I mean at some point (sometimes its quick and sometimes not) but there should be something in you that tells you that it’s not right. For me I think when Jesus said that if we have the faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains.  My new revelation for the last three to five years and growing is that I’m seriously going in deep with the word God.  Now I’m looking at the word Mustard and Seed.  The taste of mustard can be bitter and yet delicious when you combined it with some other dishes; but more importantly I’m looking at the word seed; (don’t ask how I’m connecting these two words) but you would know by now that I try to flow with the Holy Ghost in what He gives me) One could argue that when Jesus mentioned that the seed was the smallest seed on the earth; we have some skeptics say that the mustard seed wasn’t the smallest seed..  but when we read and the study the bible we have to go deeper by searching, reading, listening connecting with  (learned men and women who study this word daily) KJV 2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  First Jesus knew exactly what and who he was addressing.  During that region the mustard seed was the smallest seed. Since the Jews were very familiar with the mustard seed, Jesus referred to what they could understand and appreciate. In their world, where they lived, planted, and harvested, they understood that the mustard seed was the smallest of the seeds they normally planted. And still, it could germinate, take root, and flourish, eventually becoming an eight- to 10-foot tall shrub.

So, as I reflect and take a seat back; I would like to think that I too needed Jesus speaking to me on how I need to focus on my blog ministry and how it should go. Start out small get a feel on how  I needed to reevaluate where I am and what is the next move.    Quite frankly, those that have been commented on my post with likes; I was getting a little big headed (just a tiny bit and I needed to remind myself again that it’s not about me).  In saying this it’s important for me to remember when I use this forum to evangelize that it takes more than one may think when they are very new to this.  I know that I have to trust and depend on only what the Holy Spirit is directing for me to write.  I know now too that I have to  have a connection and dialog sharing with people who have experience and are learned folks; it’s important for me to not think that God is only talking to me but to have that connection on a personal level  connecting with God fearing bloggers who God is speaking to as well in such a time as this.  I would like to think that I too am part of the remnant in this generation (Father, I believe this platform is one of the ways you are using your children) What a blessing; one of my favorite websites; “GotQuestionsOrg” Elmer Tow; Jesus made it clear that this remnant would be small when compared to the number of people on the earth throughout history. “Many” will find the way to eternal destruction, but “few” will find the way to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14). We who believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior can, with great peace, rest in the fact that we belong to the “remnant.”

I pray that someone will  be so stirred up that they too will go deeper in their study and then let God use them for his Kingdom Building as well. My ultimate goal is to reach where I am being used for community base movement connection using my gifts to be part of the bigger picture in preaching the Gospel to the lost.  I hear in my spirit when the preacher will ask “Will there be just one” ~ Come to Jesus – Millions have come and there is still room for you at the cross.

BLESSINGS!
